The 2020 Nobel Awards are being announced this week. For physics, this year’s laureates were celebrated for their accomplishments in researching black holes and helping us to better understand our universe. However, another physicist caught my eyes this week: Jackson Oswalt, who in 2018, at the ripe old age of 12, managed to build a nuclear fusion reactor. For establishing a new Guinness world record in becoming the youngest person ever to fuse together deuterium atoms, Mr. Jackson Oswalt is this week’s Rewarranty Story of the Week.
