After Lora DiCarlo’s Osé won an Innovation Award at the 2019 CES, Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the organizers of CES, tried to revoke the award on the basis that it is “immoral, obscene, indecent, profane or not in keeping with CTA’s image . . . ;” When that didn’t work, CTA tried again by arguing it didn’t fit the Robotics and Drones category. But, it looks like Lora DiCarlo won the war. Not only did the company get the award back, Lora DiCarlo was also able to successfully petition the CTA to include innovative sex toys for awards and presentations at the 2020 CES under the Health and Wellness category. For pushing the boundaries, Lora DiCarlo is this week’s Rewarranty story of the week.
