(Un)Happy Elephant

Sadly, there is no happy ending for the elephant named Happy at the Bronx Zoo. In a 5-2 decision by New York State's highest court, Elephant was not granted its writ of habeas corpus because Elephant was determined not to be a person. For unable to shed its animal instincts, Happy, the nonperson Elephant is this week's Rewarranty Story of the Week.
